Anastasia Deligiannaki, cello

Anastasia Deligiannaki started cello lessons at the age of 11 with Marina Kislitsa as her teacher. In 2014 she received her cello diploma with a grade of A with distinction. In 2015 she started her studies in Germany with cellist and conductor Daniel Geiss until 2020, receiving a Bachelor's degree with honours. She continued her postgraduate studies as a scholarship holder of the Ioannis S. Latsis Foundation with cellist Gregor Horsch at the Düsseldorf Music Academy where she graduated in February 2024. In 2014 and 2018 she won the first prize at the Maria Hierogiorgou-Sigara Music Competition in Athens.

For two consecutive seasons (2020-21) she was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO). She has played with some of Germany's leading orchestras such as the Duisburger Philharmoniker (2020-21 season), the Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin for two seasons (2022-23), the Bergische Symphoniker and the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn. Since February she has held the permanent position as Vorspielerin with the Aachen Symphony Orchestra. She has performed in some of Europe's most important concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Konzerthaus Berlin, Concertgebow (Amsterdam), Essen Philharmonic and Teatro comunale di Ferrara. She regularly participates in chamber music concerts in Germany and Greece.
