Violinist Lars Bjørnkjaer studied at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. He was appointed 1st Concertmaster with the Royal Danish Orchestra in 1993. As a soloist, he has performed with great orchestras in Denmark and abroad. As a chamber musician, he has toured the world. Lars Bjørnkjaer gave his debut as a conductor with the Royal Danish Chamber Orchestra in 2000.
